Second- and third-generation biodiesel production with immobilised recombinant Rhizopus oryzae lipase: Influence of the support, substrate acidity and bioprocess scale-up

چکیده
• Rhizopus oryzae lipase proved an excellent biocatalyst for biodiesel production. Hydrocarbon chains on the support increased operational stability. Low oil acidity negatively influenced Acyl-acceptor concentration and had a synergistic effect. Biodiesel production from waste cooking was successfully scaled up. immobilised onto differently functionalised polymethacrylate (Purolite®) magnetite superparamagnetic supports assessed as catalyst with pomace oil. The presence of surface hydrocarbon stability biocatalysts supported Purolite® particles up to 9 2 times, respectively. By contrast, functional groups no effect initial transesterification rate, which twice higher Purolite®. Also, functionalising epoxide octadecyl led highest volumetric productivity. This other substrates including makauba, jatropha, oil, microbial similar reaction rates. However, simply raising substrate 0.5 2% 15 times. A between acyl-acceptor observed. 50 mL.

High-level expression and characterization of a chimeric lipase from Rhizopus oryzae for biodiesel production
BACKGROUND Production of biodiesel from non-edible oils is receiving increasing attention. Tung oil, called "China wood oil" is one kind of promising non-edible biodiesel oil in China. To our knowledge, tung oil has not been used to produce biodiesel by enzymatic method. The enzymatic production of biodiesel has been investigated extensively by using Rhizopus oryzae lipase as catalyst. However,...
متن کاملCombined Strategies for Improving the Production of Recombinant Rhizopus oryzae Lipase in Pichia pastoris
We have developed a yeast Pichia pastoris system for the high-level expression of recombinant Rhizopus oryzae lipase (ROL), which is a potentially effective catalyst in the solvent-free production of biodiesel fuel. In the glycerol fed-batch phase, the combination of the dissolvedoxygen-stat and gradient-control glycerol feeding strategies resulted in a higher cell biomass in the P. pastoris cu...
متن کاملWhole cell biocatalyst for biodiesel fuel production utilizing Rhizopus oryzae cells immobilized within biomass support particles.
As part of a research program aimed at producing biodiesel fuel from plant oils enzymatically cells of Rhizopus oryzae (R. oryzae) IFO4697 (with a 1,3-positional specificity lipase) immobilized within biomass support particles (BSPs) were investigated for the methanolysis of soybean oil. The R. oryzae cells easily became immobilized within the BSPs during batch operation. To enhance the methano...
متن کاملconstruction and validation of the translation teacher competency test and the scale of students’ perceptions of translation teachers
the major purpose of this study was to develop the translation teacher competency test (ttct) and examine its construct and predictive validity. the present study was conducted in two phases: a qualitative phase as well as a quantitative phase. in the first phase of the study, the author attempted to find out the major areas of competency required for an academic translation teacher. the second...
A comparison on Lipase Production from Soybean meal and Sugarcane Bagasse in Solid State Fermentation using Rhizopus oryzae
In this study, solid-state fermentation of two types of agricultural residues/products for lipase production in a tray-bioreactor was investigated. Rhizopus oryzae was used as a potential fungus strain and two types of agricultural residues including soybean meal and sugarcane bagasse were utilized as substrate. Fermentation was carried out in two different operational conditions: one with cont...
